Snoop hit up the Twitter Headquarters yesterday for his #PuffPuffPassTuesdays and played them a preview of his album, Doggumentary. Him and his new protege, Pilot (newest member of DPG), performed the song “Gangbang Rookie” (which you can see in the video below). The song got such a dope response that he decided to drop the Jake One-produced record today.

Thanks to some folks (Audible Treats & DJ Mike Dangerous), I was able to catch some great footage of Phonte & Big Pooh at the Key Club last week. It was the first time I have seen them perform and I was thrilled to say the least. We’re all heartbroken they’re going their separate ways, but I was impressed–the show was exciting. They had a ton of energy and it looked like they had a delightful time performing. They did a bunch of songs from Getback, a couple from their latest, Leftback and of course some joints from the Minstrel Show (the video was disrupted by some drunk dude having too much fun drinking “strong islands”).
Needless to say, the show was thoroughly enjoyable & the shit was PACKED.
See for yourselves:

(Also performing were Blu & Exile, DJ Day, Shafiq, Husayn, Milosh, Om’mas Keith)

Quick clip from Snoop’s Malice in Wonderland release party in Los Angeles. Shit was packed–almost got banged on by some weenie for trying to hold onto my purse (word?)
