On October 1st, Vibe, The League of Young Voters Education Fund and Cashmere Agency put on a panel discussion in Atlanta called IGNITE: From The Blogs to The Blocks. The panel discussion included some of the most prominent hip-hop journalists, tastemakers, and political activists touching on issues such as civic responsibility in our neighborhoods, the role of new media in our lives and violence, sex and gender in music, as well as some performances by Twista & Dondria.
