It was announced earlier today that VIBE Magazine, one of the nation’s leading popular music magazines, will be folding. According to a note posted on Gawker by Steve Aaron, former CEO of Vibe Media Group, the magazine was trapped by declining advertising sales, the shaky music industry and contracting credit markets. “Vibe will be remembered as a shockingly brilliant content company that everyone can be proud of,” he wrote,”and I look forward with great excitement to all of future endeavors you all pursue.”



Drake Signs With Young Money

The New Woodstock?

Happy Monday, everybody! The Takeover was everywhere this weekend. On Saturday we checked out EDC at the LA Memorial Coliseum & Exposition Park. This was Disneyland on…well, drugs, to be perfectly frank. Definitely the happiest place on earth this weekend. The event sold out and we were told that about 90,000 people attended this year’s festivities.
