So I wanted to write something funny. The whole Tiger Woods shit…there are too many ways to go with that, and honestly, its a little burnt out. I did receive one funny text though: “Tiger is lion about the pussy”. That’s great. Anyways, I started thinking, we technically have a couple weeks left in this decade. Insane. So the angel Gabriel visited me in a dream and provided me with a list of the best artists from the decade. I took his list, and swapped some out for my favorites as well, because I’m selfish. Oh well, here goes. Remember, this isn’t a list of the most talented; just who we will remember/talk about 30 years from now when discussing this decade we call “The Aughts”. What a wack name.

Best Rapper of the 00′s

Truth be told, I’m not the biggest Eminem fan. It’s more of a respect thing. I wish he would never make another beat. I’d love to put Jay-Z or Kanye at the top spot. But that’s not realistic, because this man dominated the decade. Check the stats. Salute.

Best R&B Act of the 00′s

Honestly, a battle between Destiny’s Child and Beyonce to me. How crazy is that? I give it to B simply because she took off in 03, making her presence known in the first half of the decade as well. Plus, I’m trying to get her pregnant, and POSSIBLY assist in raising the kid.

Funniest Nigga of the 00′s

I would’ve put comedian, but that would’ve left out one of my runners-up. Hands down, goes to Jasmin’s favorite person in the world, Dave Chappelle. I won’t even say too much, ill save it for the next category.

Best Show of the 00′s

This show is like a classic album to me. You can quote just about any skit. I remember every Thursday or Friday Morning in High School, you had to come with the new Chappelle jokes. The replay value of this show is amazing. Dave was THAT NIGGA this decade.

BEST RAP ALBUM OF THE 00′S

Yup, Jay-Z haters be mad. This album revolutionized music for the decade. Yea, I know Rza was doing the sped up samples. But tell me the majority of sample-based music from the decade was Rza-influenced more than it was Hov/Ye/Bink/Just Blaze influenced and ill sock you in the gut for being wrong.
